Not only did he read each first-person section in character (it switches from Nico to West every other chapter), he did it with emotion, excellent timing, and recognizable voice differentiation for all the secondary characters. Hot Dayum! Michael Pauley is ridiculously good. What does Michael Pauley bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book? They were always there to be supportive and give the main characters a kind nudge in the right direction. My favorite characters were the saucy grandpas who couldn't help meddling. I'll get into that in the question specifically about the narrator. I would have enjoyed this story as a print book, but I'm so glad I listened to the audiobook first.
